Position: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)
Salary: $55,000–$60,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.

Rapha Youth Outreach Services is seeking a passionate, highly motivated professional to join our growing team as an Enhanced Youth Outreach Worker.
This is an opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of youth and families across Windsor-Essex. Working from a trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally responsive approach, you will provide outreach, case management, mentorship, advocacy, and community-based support to youth facing complex barriers.
This position requires flexibility and includes regular evening and weekend work.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outreach, mentorship, and intensive case management.
- Build trusting relationships with youth and their families.
- Connect youth with education, employment, housing, healthcare, mental health, and community supports.
- Advocate for youth with schools, employers, landlords, and service providers.
- Plan and facilitate youth programming, workshops, and community events.
- Maintain accurate case documentation and program records.
- Develop strong partnerships throughout the community.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
- A bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, Human Services, Community Development, Child and Youth Care (degree program), or a closely related discipline.
- A master’s degree in a related field is considered a strong asset.
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience working with youth or vulnerable populations.
- Experience in case management, client advocacy, service navigation, and crisis intervention.
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, electronic case management systems, and social media platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference may be given to candidates with:
- Experience working within Black communities and supporting Black youth.
- Strong cultural competency.
- Experience facilitating youth programs and community outreach.
- Graphic design skills (e.g., Canva or Adobe Express).
- Fluency in French is an asset
Requirements
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s Licence.
- Reliable access to a vehicle.
- Satisfactory Driver’s Abstract.
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check.
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
